Silverado wheels on a Colorado?

I'm wanting to get some bigger wheels & tires than what came stock on a friends '04 Colorado, and can't find too much info out there to help. I know the bolt pattern is the same as the Silverados and other 6-bolt GM products (6x5.5") but I don't know if the offset is compatible. I also see the hub bore is 4.25" (110mm), which I understand is the same size as the older GM trucks.

If someone has 16" Silverado wheels, could you measure the distance from the inner rim to the hub mounting surface? If someone else has already tried this swap, let me know how it worked out.

THANKS!!
