1999 Rodeo Valet Switch

I've recently bought Passport (Rodeo) and it comes with a factory alarm. I was wondering if there's a valet switch or how can i disarm the alarm? Unfortunately, the vehicle did not come with an owner's manual.

I have a similar question. I just bought a 98 and I am trying to figurre out what this switch under the dash near my right knee is. doesn't seem to do anything that I can tell. I thought it may have to do with the alarm system, can't figure it out.
