EGR valve replacement/repair
Hey guys im looking to replace the EGR Valve and probably the solenoid since its apackage deal, however im wondering if there is anyway to amke the job of taking it out any easier, small ass engine bays and with everythign so crammed together its looking tough, anything i can easily take off first to give myself a little better access? And once its off, any real good tips on cleaning it out before replacing, rather not blow the 80- bucks ona new one if i dont have to. And for some reason my 4th cylinder is said to be misfiring, but even afetr cahnging the plugs and the wires look fine, the code came back ina few days....bizzare ? thanks

Re: EGR valve replacement/repair
If you still have the stock factory air intake setup on, removing the factory intake hose all the way back to the airbox would give you a little more room to get at the EGR.
If your area doesn't have emissions or inspections, you could also just block off the EGR with an EGR Elimination kit from www.neongoodies.com . L8R, |
