Question a/c cycleing switch, where is it located? 98 Burb

located at the top of the accumulator/receiver drier. However, I don't know where that is either. Anyone got a pic or something? AZ is hot this time of year and I need to fix the A/C ASAP.

Thanks,
Kevin

Hey Kevin, the accumulator/drier is located at the left rear of the engine compartment next to the firewall as you're looking in with the hood up. The cycleing switch is screwed into it. It has a valve in it so you can remove it and not lose any refridgerant. If you are looking in with the hood up locate the a/c compressor. On top you will see the a/c lines, follow the line on the right to the back of the compartment and it connects right to the accumulator/drier. The drier has foam rubber insulation around it. The switch is at the top of the drier and has a two wire connection. Just uplug the harness connector and unscrew the switch. Install the new one, plug in the connector and you are all set. You should be able to get a new switch for about 20 bucks. Hope this is not too late!! Good luck.
Roak.
