viper 350

i just got a viper 350 and the sensitivity isnt that good . how do i adjust the shock sensitivity ? or is this not possible?

There is no way to adjust the sensitivity on that unit.

My mistake friend. I thought it had the double guard shock sensor. I researched it and the shock sensor is in the unit. That knob controls the sensitivity.

i also just got a viper 350. bought it from a friend who got a new alarm. are there any walk throughs on installing the alarm DIY style. i know i saw one someplace but forgot where.

Yes, the knob on the side is for the sensitivity but make damn good and sure you test it CORRECTLY before messing with it. If you arm the car then quickly start hitting it, the alarm will not go off. The alarm has to check all the sensors and waits until the shock sensor settles down. Wait for about 10-15 seconds then start tapping the car. Remember that it isn't meant to trigger from something hitting the rear. If you want that, you need to add more sensors.

As for the info on the alarm to install, email me directly and I can email you the complete install manual.
