Lightbulb 383 small block

its the new guy again... Just recently i had discovered the invention of a 383 small block, (well they also make 415 427 and 454 small blocks but too much engine for me) ANd i was curious about the extension of worked needed to be done. now I already know about the amount of money its going to take to do this but Im curiuos about the best quality setup for the cheapest price...buying a larger truck is out of the question because i love mine. if any techs could give me a good idea of what ill be looking at id be in your debt.
