Sounds good. That is ridiculasly high for a 5.3 (I think). Hope it runs good for ya!

95Silverado: I wouldn't worry about it either (andam not going to, lol), your truck runs good, as does mine, lol.

I got it yesterday about 5, and it runs great! Lots better than the old one lol. I actually have good oil pressure again, its about 65 psi which is lots better than 30

I'm gonna wait a few weeks and see how she responds to my driving....the warranty isnt but 90 days, so I've gotta give it hell to see how it holds up If it holds up, I'm hunting a HEMI to eat MUHahahah

LOL, I heard that. Trouble with doing that though is you may cuase damage that won't show up untill later on down the road, lol.

Ive got a 2000 vortec 5.7 and i run the same pressure as yours. I to thought it was running high. 40 psi at idle up to 60 under accel. if your wondering my silverado is a 1 ton. they dont use 5.7 in half tons anymore.
