Wink 1990 Laser

Just signed on with a problem.....my 1990 Plymouth Lase overheated. I replaced a bad heater hose and the thermostat. Still overheats and the radiator fans don't come on even when I engage the A/C. Any one else ever had this problem. Solution? Would be appreciated. Thanks

Re: 1990 Laser

Does it overheat when travelling down the road?

If it just overheats when it's sitting, the fan motors might be burnt out. Might also be a relay like mentioned earlier...

Re: 1990 Laser

Check to make sure the fans are stil plugged in, the connector is on the pass side at the bottom of the radiator.

Also, check your fuses as mentioned.

Re: 1990 Laser

If the plugs check out and the fuses/relay then bust out the volt meter and try to get a reading off the fan plug on the pass side, then the drivers side. There are two - and two + wires. 2 speeds. The white with colored stripe (should be the color) will be your + wire.
