A/C blows on feet & compressor won't turn on

Air blows on feet & compressor won't turn on. The knob on the dash will not redirect the air. I have not checked to see if the temp control knob will put out hot air when moved all the way to hot. There does not appear to be a fuse that is causing this or am I missing something? Two weeks ago I installed a new radio and could of damage some of the circuit board for the A/C and heater controls but I couldn't see any problems with a visual inspection.
Help, it's hot here in Kansas.
Thanks

Sounds to me like you may have a loose cable or connector in the dash. Pull the control console and check the wiring and connections.
