rough ridin PA

New to the forum but wish I had found it long ago, lots of good info and people to help you out.
Have a 97 PA, put 40k on it and had the usual problems ( intake, gas gauge, etc) over all has been a good auto. Here's my question, I know I'm an old foogie but I hate the way my car rides and handles with the low profile 16" tires, has anyone changed back to 15" with a 70 or 75 sidewall. The only tires I've found in 70x16 or 75x16 have been SUV and one would think they would be stiffer, guess that depends on # of plies huh? Anyway does anyone have any ideas?
Stuck gas gauge, quick and dirty fix-- use a #50 drill bit, drill thru the cluster lens directly above the fuel gauge then use a small piece of wire to physically move the needle back clockwise. You have to look very close to see the tiny hole and since my car pegs out the fuel gauge every time someone overfills the gas tank I have a 30 second fix instead of a 2 hour headache. thanks olredhead
