Replacing Fuel filter for '93 V6

I've searched the forum for this and only found the thread for replacing the fuel filter for the '98's and up.

Is the filter in the same place as in that thread or is it different?

I've been having stalling problems that come and go when pushing the gas pedal and think it might be my fuel filter.

Any instructions on how to replace one on a '93 V6 rodeo would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I have a 94 3.2L V6 ....and my fuel filter was on the passenger side behind the rear wheel well. If you don't see it, just follow the fuel lines from the tank. It'll be along there somewhere.

Re: Replacing Fuel filter for '93 V6

My 92, although its not the same engine, is in the same spot behind the rear passenger side fender.

might want to check if the exhaust pipe is getting really (red) hot infront of the catylatic converter, if it is you could need a new one.

Re: Replacing Fuel filter for '93 V6

Well, all done. Thanks for the help people. It sure was a pain in the ass to get the hoses off the fuel filter....maybe because of how long it had been before the change.

Thanks again.
