MY 94 PA, I believe has a direct short somewhere in the power window circuit. As soon as I turn the key on (Without activating any window) I can feel the circuit breaker heat up. I can use the windows as long as I do it as soon as the key is turned on, I get about 5 sec before the breaker trips.
My question is this, is this vehical prone to any shorts in a particuliar place? So I can begin my long journey to find where it may be.

Re: Power Windows
If none of your window switches are stuck, then the short must between the breaker and the switch. Most likely in the harness where it exits the "A" pillar and goes to the driver door through the rubber boot.

"A" piller? Is this the support that separates the driver door and rear passenger door?

Re: Power Windows
No it's the pillar on the front side of the front door that supports the front fender. When the door is open you can see the rubber boot that protects the harness. The wires tend to break and fray due to the constant opening/closing
