Question 94 Camry wagon brake light replacment

I need to replace a rear brake light in the back door but can not figure out how to get into the unit. It is probably very simple but I just don't want to ruin the rear panel getting in the wrong way.

If you're referring to the high-mounted brake light, the cover comes off by inserting a pointed object into the round clips. They are inserted by pushing the pin back through the clip, inserting the clip in the holes, and then pushing the pin back through.

I am actually referring to the lower brake lights. There don't have an obvious access that I can see.

Your owners manual should have illustrated instructions on how to replace any light bulb in your Camry. Best of luck!

That would work great if I had an owners manual, but I don't. Any suggestions?

Are the lights you are talking about on the door or the body?

You have to open the door and remove the inner panel that covers the area where the light is at. Probably by prying it off with a taped screwdriver. Then there are 4 nuts that hold on the exterior lens assembly.
