95 camry starting problems
Hi, My 95' camry is acting strange. Several months ago, the starter would not engage when turning the key, just a click. after jiggiling the key and taking it in and out it would eventually start, somtimes taking longer then others.
I changed the battery, which showed improvment for only a few days. I removed the starter connections cleaned them and put them back on. this fixed the problem for a couple months, now it's doing it again. Also while this is happening the acouple of the radio buttons don't work as well.... not sure what to do... |

Re: 95 camry starting problems
Need a little more info for a diagnosis as these are probably unrelated. You could take it to a larger parts store and ask them to check the battery and charging system. It's free!

Re: 95 camry starting problems
Radio is unrelated. Your starting problem is most likely your solenoid contacts.

Re: 95 camry starting problems
Thanks joe and brian, I failed to mention that i did have the charging system checked.
The contacts are part of the starter, is that correct? |
