Busted torque converter *pic*

So I'm taking apart my transmission last night again for the nth time this year to find out why it won't ramp up to 3k rpm. I pull the torque converter out and inspect it. I run my finger along the inside, around the gear and look at what falls out: http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/620905

The emotions that followed were:
Gutted it. The only thing holding it together was the input shaft.

*edit* So I don't get busted down for not having something street race related in my post...

I think I did the most damage to it when launching hard from a stoplight about two weeks ago... heard this sickening thud-crack... now I know how I did it at least.

The stator actually looked machined, as a two inch area of the shaft was completely smooth when it should have had teeth on it. It was insane looking.

Everything else is fine... the car is back on the street but now I'm having to fix 2nd to 3rd flare ups. So annoying.

Sorry didn't see your question...

B&M 3,000 rpm torque master. Was an expensive break, the rest of the transmission I can rebuild for like 50 dollars but the damn tc is 280 or so.
