I'm shocked as to why you are calling the 2004 GTO an embarrassment rather than the early 70's one that sent the name into the clay. Is it because the new one is Australian?

probably b/c itz been out in aussie land for a couple years under a different name and came here rebadged the GTO...but for me...i'm don't see why u would bring back to life a classic muscle car name and then put it on a car that looks like the rest of your brand lineup
would have made since to make it look completely different...but that's just me

Each to thier own. I think the lines have a nice consistent flow, looks better as a GTO than a Monaro IMHO.
