Re: what should i do with the nsx

I think it was Yvonne (Nismo400R) who was building the test car, quit being lazy and search through her stuff for it!

You'll have your work cut out if you are doing a 2003 car, lots of major and subtle mods. Or is there an earlier CF version you're doing? Decals stick better to a smooth glossy surface so I'd recommend you paint it a glossy black before decaling.

Dude! Do it!!!

Go with a phantom bare carbon fiber test mule, leaving the front and rear sections red, the wheels green and the intake white.

Paint the underbody semi-gloss black and use a good quality CF decal (i'd say a combo of SMS's 80's pewter, bronze and the newer plain weave. Use those and the semi-gloss undercoat to mix and match colors and textures. Add a few of the sponsor decals and viola! You'll have a kit no one else in the world probably has!

You can view my Porsche 96 GT1 (in bare SMS CF) for placement ideas, etc.

This would be too damned cool!

Damn...looks like I've got to find one of those too...argh

Bill

Re: what should i do with the nsx

the reason for this paint job is that i messed
up the raybrigs decals. WHAT a pain in the ass
i had better luck with the castrol mugen nsx
painting and decaling then i did with the raybrig decals

Re: what should i do with the nsx

well after messing up the paint i stripped
it. i felt it was time to try some body mods

i reshaped the front a bit

was not happy with this outcome

i think i'am going to do this car as a private
team car with no big sponser's on it
