ac/heater blower failure

my heater wasn't working in position 1 , and was making a noise, when turned to any of the other positions, now it doesnt work at all, nor the AC, the fuse blew, I changed the fuse and it blew again.........Would it be the blower resistor? how do I change that?

I took out the blower and it was full of water. I'm going to let it dry out , put some WD-40 and connect it again and see what happens

I had a similar problem with my Nissan Pickup and my neighbor had the same thing with his Chevy Beretta. Water was leaking into the passenger side and dripping all over the floor on both cars and it looked like the water was coming from the blower motors. It turns out, there is a drain on most cars that goes from under the dash, through the firewall and outside the car into the engine compartment. Condensation is supposed to drip out onto the ground when the A/C is on. It's not unusual for them to get clogged up and then the water backs up into the car, blower motor, etc. I guess mold builds up in the little drain and clogs it or something. You just have to find this drain and stick a little wire or something in there to clear the drain. I ended up replacing the blower motor in my Nissan too.

thanks, i drained the blower and changed the fuse and it works well again.
