Re: turbo KiT
If you have an S14 you can get a Greddy turbo kit. Or you can probably get the S14 kit and ghetto-rig it onto an S13 somehow.
I'd go with a new motor personally. |

Re: turbo KiT
Can a Greddy turbo kit fit in a 1971 Datsun 510??? (I'm really sorry for asking because nobody posts on the Datsun 510 forum)

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: turbo KiT
External is a lot better. You get less boost spikes on an external. And internal wastegates usually cost more. Save the money you would spend on that and get a good wastegate. BOV is not completely necessary, but it will be a lot easier on the turbo. Its basically necessary.[/quote]
I was thinking that he would probably be getting a junkyard dog off of a saab or something. and i dont see an External as nessicary on something boosting less than 7psi. most cars dont use externals until the 350Whp mark anyhoo... that being said External wastegates are Sexy |

ya the internet is really helpful on this subject just use google or a search engine along with forums and you'll learn everything you need to know, i found a site a little while back that explained every little detail and had all kinds of info on cars and such even history of things,
But sadly they make it a membership site that you have to pay for ....... I love the sound that my BOV makes ~HKS SSQV~ |

If you know what you're doing, build a kit yourself, if you don't then buy a kit.

Re: turbo KiT
You can build a turbo manifold, or just buy one. Revhards are always on ebay for like 379. Thats what I have.
So far I have bought: Revhard mani-$412 shipped Turbonetics evolution wastegate-$220 shipped Garrett T04B turbocharger-$370 shipped Import-autoperformance oil lines-$150 shipped Greddy BOV-$170 shipped total so far-$1322 All I have left to buy are some miscellaneous intake charge pipes(PVC for now) and a few fittings.
