stereo install? what wires

ok, my friend and I are trying to install a cd player in his car, and his harness has ben cut and for soem reason there was no constant power there, so I know I am going to have to add that, but I found the ground and the acc hot wires, but there are more than 8 left over wires for the speakers so theres wires for something else in there, so anyone know what color/stripe color wires aree for which speaker +/- or of a web page that tells such info. and i think it is a 91.

Re: stereo install? what wires

oh yeah, and as I was pulling his bundle out of the hole in the dash something sparked, but i checked the audio and the cigarette lighter fuses figuring those would be the ones to pop if a wire in that area shorted, and they were good, and then I found NO constant with the test light, checked them all. but then later when he went to leave he had no dash lights so I checked his taillight fuse cuz i remember that on my teg those were connected like that. and it was blown, could that have been the reason the constant wasnt thee, the taillamp fuse had blown? hes coming over here again later todauy so we should get that sucker in now. thanks
