Exclamation Help! my car wont start!

ok, my car runs allright.. most of the time... when it will run anyways.. i encountered a problem with it when parked on an incline about 2 weeks ago at a freinds, it was idling very rough and low, and when i gave it a little gas, it would be allight.. but when i gave it alot, it would die. so i went about a block in it and it died and then wouldnt turn over. since that point it was driving like normal. till today anyways.. i got in my car.. same symptoms as before, rough idling and all. so i took it down the road.. hoping that it would resolve itself like before. but it didnt. so, its sitting in my yard now, and i have no idea what to do! i looked over the forum and decided that it must be a clogged fuel filter... since my car has 180,000 miles on it and it looks like the filter has never been changed.. any help would be appreciated! thank you
