98 Honda Accord Sunroof

Can anyone tell me about a sunroof? Just bought this 98 2dr honda coupe for my daughter. 1st week the sunroof/moonroof worked great. Now it won't close all the way. It has 3 buttons. One to slide open (moonroof?), one that just pops the back up (sunroof?) and one to close it. The button that pops open the sunroof does nothing! We bought the wrench that manually closes it. It won't make it close all the way either. Somebody please help. Can't afford to go to the honda dealership. Plus I have this "I told you so" thing going on with my husband. (He did not want to get one with the sunroof) Also I have already checked the fuses. Any other ideas???
