Auto Tone Settings Arent Saved

Hello everyone,

I just got a 2004 Maxx. Seems like a great car so far. I just have one question if anyone has seen or heard of.

If I use the Auto Tone on the radio (Single CD) for any source, it stays until I shut the car. When I restart, it goes back to the "Custom" setting. I use the same Key Fob, and I do NOT have any porblem losing the station presets, just the tone settings. Is there any way to "lock" the setting?

Thanks for any help or advice....

Craig

Re: Auto Tone Settings Arent Saved

Hi,
Any potential that while driving you adjust any of the tone manually? That throws you into custom setting.

EDIT - Actually I misread your post. Did you save the radio stations after selecting the preset you wanted? You need to do that in order for preset selection to be saved

Also, the auto tone setting has to be programmed with the pre-set. Choose the channel you want, set it to the auto tone that you want, then program it to one of the pre-sets, 123456 etc. Then it will be saved. It is only saved for that pre-set. You will have to do that for every pre-set you have if you want it to be saved.
