Post Light switch & valves

Does anyone know what the fog lamp switch is rated at in amps? I want to tie in 2 fog lamps that draw 4.5 amps ea.

Next: I have 27,000 miles on the car. Everything is great but noisy rear brakes and the valves tick at idle after it warms up. The dealer said it's normal but you can hear this from the back of the car. It's not like something broken but I haven't heard any other neons ticking. Can you adjust the valves or it it like the old 340 motors where you can't?

What is the best neon manual to buy, Chilton?

Use 5w30 Mobil One.

Thanks

Re: Light switch & valves

There is no adjustments possible.

The valve noise you are hearing is coming from bad "valve lash adjusters". They act as a shock absorber on the rocker arms. Replacement sets costs start at about $40 a set.
