Porsche Slantnose
I saw a pewter colored Porsche Slantnose, Ive only seen it around once before. The crazy part was that it was atleast 100 yards away and I could hear the turbo on it, and he was just cruising at around 45mph. Another thing I realized is that Porsches are some of the worst sounding cars Ive ever heard. If it werent for the turboes it would have sounded like a pickup truck. I remember I pulled next to a 911 and he gave it the gas and the sound reminded me of a VW beetle. Their beautiful cars and I love them, but they dont sound very agressive at all.

I highly doubt it was 2004, it looked to me like a 930 slantnose (were any 911s slantnose, the only ones ive seen were 930s) it also looked like a late 80s to mid 90s from the bodystyle.

Re: Porsche Slantnose
It was probably a 930 Slantnose, factory or not, I doubt you'd be able to tell.
The CGT has a distinct sound, moreso than any Porsche. It's a very racey V-10 and shouldn't sound anything like a pickup, more like and F-1 motor at half the RPM. As for the Porsches are some of the worst sounding cars bit, I'm afraid I have to disagree, the low key burble is a nice touch to the timeless design. Any flat engined Porsche has a very distinct sound to it. I can hear a Porsche from a good distance nowadays, it's similar to a Subaru but more vibrant.
