Maxima stock hp figures for 97-99 SE & GXE???

On going debate about what the hp rating for stock maximas in all trims from 95-99. Please help if you know or any sites that would give this info out. We think 190 DOHC was only engine offered through these years.

They all had the same engines running 95-99. I heard that the fastest was the 1995-96 maximas they were a little ligther than the 97-99. If you gonna buy a maxima i would recommend the manual version. Someone correct me if i am wrong.

1995 GXE 5 speed would be the fastest 4th gen. they weigh a just a little under 3000lbs.

190HP, 205ft. lbs torque produced by the VQ30DE engine for 95-99s. And yes, the 95/96s are oh so slightly faster than the 97-99s.

95's are the fastest and most responsive to mods cuz they're OBD-1

if you look here http://www.obdii.com/connector.html and scroll down to the list at the bottom it tells which engines/cars were fully obd-II compliant prior to january 1, 1996. a lot of nissan engines were, but the maxima wasn't. only a a few maxima's from a few factories were obd-II prior to 96.
