Lightbulb A poem on...

A nice writing by elmnts of trnce & Jcsaleen (me)

As I look in the mirror time seems to slow to a halt .The traffic lines wander within a mist of street lamps. Then again as if it were never there my eye's gaze on the road once again. The engine screams in the elevens & the turbo with its faint yet sin full whistleing like a demon waiting to be unleashed. I drift freely down the overshadowed streets illuminated with halogen fairies. It seems to effortlessly glide as the tires gently scave the road. The Streaks of luminesnce gently roll over the smooth gentle gloss of the windows. The lights! They are the High Intensity angels of the night. The Discharged Wonders Of the urban cityscape...

Re: A poem on...

I watched as the taxi's tail-lights fade
The faint aroma of her perfume dissipates in the still night air
I can still feel her touch upon my lips
Her presence from the final hug
One last smile and then her eyes darted away
And then I turn and walk back to my front door

With the faint glimmerings of a tear in my eye
I forget what was said
Like the perfume it was a passing trifle that has wafted away in the night air
And in a few years time I will wonder why I spent so much time chasing dragons across the sky
When I knew I could never fly

See you round sweetie, it just wasn't in the cards in this life, maybe next time.
