96 Max, Why does it keep hydroplainning?
Hello everyone, got a problem that maybe somebody here could help me with. Im currently driving a 96 maxima gxe with the 215/60/r15 tire package, and the problem is, every time it rains this car is almost impossible to drive!!! As soon as i hit a puddle or any kind of water on the road whenever it rains, it starts to hydroplain. Its not that i am driving too fast for conditions, if anything i am going slower than anyone else!!! When i purchased the vehicle it had michelin mx4 all season tires installed on it, and i thought maybe they were just bald and used up. SO i went out and purchased the best wet weather tire, the b.f. goodrich traction t/a tires, -100 bucks a piece-. but still, whenever it rains, this car wants to wander all over the road. Is this a suspension problem? what type of tires would u all recommend?? Ive already had the steering aligned, so im clueless, any ideas?????

Might be a torque issue, Since 93, the maxima has had a little too much power for itself, so they have been pretty prone to torque steer.
