Manual to power seat upgrade

Hi folks,

I'm new to the forum, and have been enjoying my Dakota Quad cab for about 7 months now...

My question is this: Has anyone upgraded their manual driver's seat to the power adjustable seat? If so, is the required harness already in place, and hiding under the carpeting and backer? I am looking to find a salvage vehicle, and pull the seat from that. Any other advice you'd care to share?

P.S. the current seats are cloth covered buckets, but I will eventually be getting them redone in leather.
