I Need Some Help
I've been looking for a new car for about two months. Originally I wanted a honda civic, then a prelude, but it seems that i must broaden my horizons to fit my budget (it's about 7 grand). I saw an '01 eclipse in a local car dealership and was wondering if it would be worth consideration. I've heard that eclipses are OK in the tuner world. but the main complaint from people is the cabin noise. do you all think i should keep looking for a prelude etc. or look at the eclipse (granted that this is posted in the eclipse forum, it's gonna be a little bias).

Re: I Need Some Help
my opinion is that you should look for a 2nd generation eclipse. either a GST or GSX. they come factory with turbos and can easily be upgraded. you could probably find one in your price range

Re: I Need Some Help
Eclipses tuneable? LoL.
Crajee America-jin, you make me raff. The 3G was a US only platform. There as rare in Japan as the FTO is here. This means a lot of the aftermarket companies won't be making a lot of parts for the 3G. But as the others have said, the 2G platform is worldwide, so good luck in your search for that DSM.
