Buying a 85 318

Any reliability issues you want to warn me about before i finalize transaction??

He is asking 1500/obo for a 85 318 in mint cond. with 83k miles

when started cold, make sure the 'oil pressure' lamp goes out with-in about 2 sec's.....if it take much longer, replace the oil pump. Make sure the 'idle speed' sounds ok AND there's no evidence of fresh coolant on the drivers floor. Other than usual wear
items, that's all I can think of for now............jeffb.
