Need Help with Frankenar Install
Hey everyone, finally got my frankencar intake the other day, but need a couple tips on install. I got it on, and everything works fine, but I still don't think it is right. The problem area is the two silicone couplers. There is one which is the same diameter on both ends and one which has one end smaller than the other. I believe the instructions refer to this one as the reducer since one end is smaller than the other, and it is supposed to connect the midpipe to the MAF, but i am unsure how to get it connected securely. I clamped the larger side over the midpipe then just squeezed the smaller side into the MAF but this doesn't seem right. Also the silicone coupler that I used to connect the entire system to the throttle body doesn't seem to hold it securely either. With the clamp tightened all the way I can still pull it off with my bare hands quite easily. Any help on these issues? Thanks a ton!

Nevermind...after a bit more thought and some extra muscle I was able to squeeze everything on nice and tight! Omg the thing sounds like my dad's '72 vette now. I can feel the small extra boost of power as well. Highly recommended! Definitely was worth the wait.
