1993 1.5cx to 1996 d16y7 need help

does anyone know what all i need to change my 1.5 out to a 1.6,d16y7 in my 1993 .

d16y7 is a good engine to work off. ive seen a couple turbo d16 doing good its nto the best but its better tahtn that 1.5. i think the worst is that ur going from 0bd1 to obd2. idk what kind of wireing that involves. might want to check the faq 92-00 swaping guide at the top of 92+civic forum

you dont need to convert ANYTHING... I used to have the B7 and now have a Y8. Even the damn ECU works.... just bolt on the engine, and you're set. This is my 1992 Civic LX



thats pretty much the engine you wanna put in there.

Thanks For The Info But The Engine I Have Is A Sohc 16v And The 1.5 Is Not....the Intakes Are Different ,and I Wonder Which Intake I Should Use...the 16v /1996 Engine Ports Are Different ...

how does teh b7 non vtec ecu work with a y8 vtec engine? last time i checked b7 ecu doesnt engage vtec.

cuz I cant find a 92-95 ex auto ecu!!!! help! yes! vtec engine with no vtec! haha weird huh? I have the ecu that this engine but its for stick shift.. I have no use for it.. and I also have the tranny, but am going to swap it to stick in the future
