Re: USDM b16 parts

Yes but when it comes to like distributors, clutches and others they dont work... Clutch must be off a 90-91 teg(if cable tranny) distributors(usdm doesnt have a obd0 b16a), but parts like cams cam gears, valve, header, pistons, etc. Work all fine.

Re: USDM b16 parts

Just to clear things up for you just incase you don't know. The reason you can't use the dizzy from USDM b16's is because they are obd2 in the newer civics. Not sure about the del sols, think they may be obd1. JDM b16's are obd0.

I was wondering the same thing. I don't know which usdm car is close to the JDM B16A1. will usdm honda parts like an air filter fit my B16? or do I need integra parts. and I want to buy slotted rotors for the new axles that came with the swap, do I buy integra rotors? if so, what year? Which car is the most closely related to the JDM b16?
thanks a bunch guys

thanks for the info. But, actually, the axles came with new spindles and hubs, so the rotors and calipers are much bigger than my stock 89 civic ones. I am also looking into buying new headers. but I'm not sure what car to buy them for. Does anyone know what kind of car the JDM B16a1 engines come out of??
thanks a huge bunch

Re: USDM b16 parts

I'd get the jdm DC sports header. The best flowing header for that price range.
