Question Problems with a Z

My Z is doing something crazy. The dumb thing will start and run perfect until it warms up. It just floods out of nowhere. I"ve checked or replaced the following: EFI control unit, thermotime switch, cold start injector, EFI relay, fuel filter, okay, all relays, stethoscoped the injectors, too much to list. Then, it won't start for another hour or so. Sometimes, after it's warmed up, it will just load up really bad, and die after a few minutes. After about an hour and a half, it runs perfect again....for a few minutes. I'm about ready to junk this stupid little Japanese car and go back to the U.S Express, my 65 Buick Riviera. I've been pulling my hair out for three days now, and any imput would be valued like the word of god. Thanks.

And now, it runs too rich to even run. What could cause this?

Cool

I had a problem like this with my 79 280ZX, pulled my hair our for 2 weeks then broke down a payed nissan over $200. to try to fix it, they didn't fix it.

What I finally did was unplugg the cruise control units underneath the passenger seat! That fixed the problem for me! I don't know why, and everyone I ask can't give me an answer either.
Anyway, give that a try.

Bogy

Re: Help!!!!

Well, that did a lot of nothing. My guess is that you got lucky as hell. I, on the other hand, was lucky to have it run long enough to drive it into a pasture, where it will sit until it runs again. Thanks for the suggestion, though.
