just curious if anyone has tried or heard of swapping a 5.0 and converting over to rear wheel drive. I want to have something different and I figured this was the best place to check. It sounds crazy but if it works it will be pretty cool.

Re: escort GT pony '88
Anything is possible with the time, equipment, and bucks. But to convert a front wheel drive to rwd isn't worth the insane work. Go buy on old classic and dump your time and effort into it. You'll get a much greater return and turn a lot more heads.

well i know all about this one all my friends told me not to do it and that it was too much work but i tried any way and failed horribly my advice is dont do it to much money and way to hard but i found out that a 1987 ford tempo has an all wheel drive and should fit so u could go that way

Re: escort GT pony '88
This is a common problem with converting front weel drive to rear.
There has to be lots of work doing this but if you do it right the payoff is grate. Dimman |
