Drivebelt length on smog bypass?
How long of a belt do I use to bypass the smog pump? I've found some lengths but they only work if you have underdrive pulleys, and I don't. And yes, I know, bypassing the smog pump won't give any performance benefit but I just want to take it and some of the clutter that comes along with it out of my engine compartment. So, does anyone know how long the drive belt needs to be to bypass the smog pump on an engine with no underdrive pulleys? Thanx.

Wrap a string or small rope correctly around all the pulleys and measure end to end. Then got to the parts store and get a 6 rib belt in that length. Just make sure when you install it that the tensioner is within range.
