S-Runner quarter times and cap weight?

I just bought a 2001 Tacoma S-Runner. Fun truck. What do these things run stock.

Also i have a Leer cap on it with no side windows anyone have a idea what it weighs? The cap has rubbed the paint off the top of the tailgate where the door rests. Any idea how to stop that after I fix the paint?

Probably around 60-80 lbs. I've lifted one, but not weighed it.

For stopping the wear on your tailgate. Does it sit flat on top of it or does it have a portion that falls over the outside of the tailgate?

it has a portion that goes over the side and that's where the problem is

Try putting a piece of weather stripping along that edge.

it has the rubber stripe at the bottom of the door. i've never seen a cap do that. maybe they just never waxed underneath

It's pretty quick it's the 6 not the 4
