Why do we all hate ricers?

Why do almost all of us hate ricers? When I think about it, theres only two real reasons i can come up with:

1) We dont like people making their car look fast, and then getting blown away racing because it gives tuners a bad name, or

2) We dont like people spending money on their car's "aesthetics" and getting all the respect for having a really fast car, (Girls, looks on the street, girls, etc), when we have a much faster, better cared for car, and dont get any of those benifits.

Otherwise, why should we care? It's not like their directly hurting us by ricing out their cars and being assholes.

Well, if I get an S13 next month, I'll buy a new front with space for a fmic, decent sideskirts and a nice hood for it.

I don't think it's rice, it definitely makes the car look better and is also necessary in a way (fmic).

now we come to the "when does rice start?"-point

stickers, wings. I think everybody is ok with that.

I don't really hate racers - compared to my reaction when I see them, because I laugh. I don't curse

In a way, I'd miss ricers, because I'd have a thing less to laugh about.
Plus, I couldn't show 'em who's really da daddy of da mcdaddy... uhm (did I just say that?)

I always keep that in mind- without dumb people, life would be a lot less funny.

you got the wrong interpretation of ricers.

a ricer is a person with absolutely no taste and ruin a perfectly nice car. atleast by you acknowledging that your car only looks fast and is not fast, that makes it different. however with the ricer mentality, they think they can take down a LS1 or even stang GT's with their 17 second civics.

I hate ricers because they jack up insurance rates, drive like shit, and disturb the peace with their fart cannons. That said, it's fun to blow them away with my V6 Camry (I took the V6 badge off the back :P)

they're plague which we need to eradicate fast. all the juvenile idiots and Slim Shady wanna bees are hitting the streets, and busting their tiny d**ks thinkin they got "speed" under the Type R sticker. as if hearing the rusty old lawnmore "pimpin from the 'hood" V8s in big ass old Caddy in the mid 90s wasn't enough. and pretty much ruins the driving experience for the rest of us when we see these ricer vermins on the street. of course I only speak for myself and those who point at them and grin and laugh ostentatiously.

This is a subject that has been bashed to death so many times it dosn't need to rear its ugly head again.


Ricers are just mis-directed car lovers.
They need our surport and education, not our hate.
