Cool need manual transmission

Hey guys im new and i have a 97 GAGT which currently has the 2.4L 4-banger and an automatic transmission. I am looking to replace the automatic transmission with a manual transmission. Can this be done? If so how much work would it take and about how much would it cost. Also does anyone have a manual transmission that would fit my car. I would appreciate some help. Thanks.
My e-mail is [email protected] if you would like to contact me directly.
Thanks again
