Nismo Comes To America

K, i was looking for Nismo products and found this page, dunno if this is old news but I found it kinda interesting:

NISMO Comes to America
it's time for some Nissan Motorsports equipment.

October 21, 2003 - NISMO components, designed by Nissan and NISMO engineers with optimizing performance and safety in mind, are now available for the first time in United States at participating Nissan dealers nationwide. Installation of NISMO equipment is also offered by most participating Nissan dealers. NISMO, long recognized as the premier supplier of high-performance aftermarket parts and accessories for Nissan vehicles, offers four distinct categories of merchandise: S-tune, R-tune, Legacy and Lifestyle.

S-tune: For Street Performance, Backed with Extensive Warrantya
S-tune components are engineered for the enthusiast that drives his or her Nissan vehicle on the street. Each S-tune component is covered by the Nissan Parts and Accessory Limited Warranty - up to 12 months or 12,000 miles (see actual warranty and dealer for details).

Initially, S-tune components are available for Sentra SE-R and 350Z models. These include a stainless steel cat-back exhaust system, lightweight forged alloy wheels, cast alloy wheels, shift knobs, sway bars, shock and spring kits, body kits (available 2004), floor mats, and license plate frames.
Components for Altima, Frontier and Xterra will be available in the future, with a range of parts expected to be offered for every model by 2005.

R-tune: Ideal for the Weekend Racer
NISMO R-tune parts are intended for the hard-core enthusiast or weekend racer. The goal with R-tune components is maximum performance, which compromises street civility. They are intended for off-highway use only and, as such, no warranty is offered for R-tune components and they are sold "AS IS".

R-tune components are currently available for Sentra SE-R and 350Z models, including headers, camshafts, cold-air intakes, brake pads, lightweight flywheel (350Z only), power steering oil cooler kit (350Z only), clutch disc and clutch cover (350Z only), limited-slip differential (350Z only), front strut tower bar (SE-R only), lower tie bar (SE-R only), rear stabilizer bar (SE-R only) and bushing kits (SE-R only). Components for other high-performance Nissan products, geared towards on and off-road performance, will be available at a later date.

Legacy: Helping to Keep Older Nissans at Peak Performance
NISMO offers a large array of performance components for older Nissans, including the 300ZX, the 240SX and previous generation Sentra. All Legacy components are designated R-tune. Examples of available Legacy components are fuel injectors in sizes up to 740cc for 300ZX, a coil-over shock kit for 1995-1998 240SX, limited-slip differentials for 1990-1996 300ZX, 1989-1998 240SX and 1993-2001 Altima, as well as thermostats, clutch kits, strut tower braces, bushings, shift knobs and wheel studs.

Lifestyle: NISMO Style and Fun>/b>
Lifestyle merchandise allows NISMO enthusiasts to show their true colors. Lifestyle merchandise includes a selection of high-style NISMO hats, t-shirts, sweatshirts and jackets. Also available are special NISMO emblems, key chains, coffee mugs, bags and 1/43-scale NISMO Skyline GT-R race cars.
