Blitz NurSpec-R on N/A S14

Hi Everyone, Just a quick question..

What's your opinion on the Blitz NurSpec Racing catback system for an N/A 95 240SX? I've tried to do a lot of research and have found nothing but praises for the NurSpec-R and plan to get one for my s14... but what is the difference between its application/performance on an N/A or TURBO?

Oh, and if anyone has any sound clips or pics of it on the s14 i'd greatly appreciate it!

Well i've been lookin into also, its going to be my choice of exhaust if i'm gonna get a SR20 that is. but anyways, from i've learned about it, i think it was made mainly for turbo applications instead of n/a, so the nur-spec R would be more effective on a SR20 vs. n/a KA. check out the regular nur-spec or jus go with another exhaust.

sorry for the double post but anyways, i checked out the Blitz website and looked at Nur-Spec R application sheet. notice these are all turbocharged cars. but whether or not its talking about the SR20 for the 240sx i'm not sure, but i'm guessing yes.

Well, the regular NUR-Spec is a "rear section only exhaust".. so how would that make a difference for the N/A KA rather than the whole catback system of the NUR-SpecR?

I've gone on Blitz North America's site and looked them up but they don't say anything about whether they're turbo or N/A specific. Is there anyone who knows someone who's used the NURSpec-R on an N/A??

Thanks

Re: Blitz NurSpec-R on N/A S14

i had the n1 duals on my KA and it was great, little increase in power not much, and they are 3" to 2.5" split, but sounded awesome, im sure they will rock on the rb25

so what im trying to say is, 3" is ok on the ka... i didn't notice any degrading of performance. Although the ka is not the hp beast so who knows. get the exhaust and youll be able to turbo it and not have to upgrade the exhaust

yeah, here's a recent post i found about the size of an exhuast:

actually

a 3" exhaust gives the N/A KA a boost of about 10rwhp. dyno proven to give more hp thena 2.5" or similar

it actually doesn't loose low end torque like everyone thinks, and it is kinda loud but also tested was a dyno run with the silencer in the 3" catback , which resulted in 7rwhp gains, so the silencer removes 3 horsepower but even that route give you more power then a small N/A sized catback

so... i guess i'm still leaning towards getting the NurSpec.. at least if i ever decide to turbo it in the future i can keep the same catback... if not, HKS was my second choice, then n1 duals...

you and me think alike in terms of exhast, lol. the nur spec-r was always my first choice, then the hks hi-power, the n1 dual. anyways, i'm going to go check out sil-eighty tomorrow and it has a sr already in it. so if i get that car, the nur spec-r will be coming soon too.

here check it out

how about with the silencer? how much quieter does it make it? cuz i've heard that the blitz is one of the louder exhausts on the market.. i've only heard/seen clips of it without the silencer..
