Re: AWD sports car

I can't seem to find any. What year did they start making them (I know they stopped in 1993)?

Re: AWD sports car

That one looks nice, but pick-up would be a bitch and a half, I live in Las Vegas. I'm sure I can probably find one in SoCal, since I'm moving soon and I'll be an hour away from L.A.

Re: AWD sports car

You frogot one, the Subaru SVX, they quit importing them in 1996, but they were and are awsome cars!

3.3 L horizontally opposed flat 6
230 hp
228 ft/lb tourque

Only downside is the only tranny option is an automatic
Plus the trans. can't handle a lot of power, back then Subaru didn't have a good enough transmission to put in the SVX, they do now though, it can be found in the WRX, so obviously WRX to SVX tranny swaps are quite common.

Oh yea, that 230 horespower 228 ft/lb tourque from the 3.3L horizontally opposed flat 6 is not turbocharged!

And Yes They Do Make Aftermarket Turbos!

Re: AWD sports car

I didn't forget the Subaru SVX, I just didn't mention it, because A. it's too heavy for my tastes and B. I'd prefer a manual transmission. Still, I have to give Subaru credit for making such an interesting luxury-sport

Re: AWD sports car

I would stay away from the DSM's. If I had to do it all over again...I'd never even consider it, it's been nothing but problems the whole time. I would go after a WRX or a Stealth since they're lighter than the 3kGTs.

Re: AWD sports car

Maintenance on the 3000GT/Stealth is pretty high, I'll stick with the WRX if I can afford it.
