air conditioning recharge problem

I bought a recharge kit for my jetta and I did everything the damn thing told me to but it did not work. When I hooked it up and started filling it, I heard a hissing sound coming from the right side of the radiator. What happened??????

The refrigerant leaked out a hole. There is an A/C system part called the condensor in front of the radiator. Bad connection, o-ring, or physical damage? You will have to check it out, perhaps adding a little more at a time to isolate the leak.
