I have had a 2004 S for about 3 weeks now, and its great. Comfortable, functional, powerful, and the handling is insane. Insane, I say.
My only complaint is that I wish it had more low-end power, but that is like, impossible with an engine like that, which is meant to be revved. After driving the Mini for over 2 weeks, and then driving my Intrigue, it was like I was suddenly driving a huge car from the 70's or something.... with bad handling, and low power. It's all a matter of perspective. I am going to be selling my Intrigue, and making the Mini my primary vechicle. It's that good. Of course, it helps that I am a single young guy, so its not like I need to put a baby seat in the back, or haul home $150 of groceries, haha. Oh, I have the Premium and Cold Weather packages, and I would say that they are worth the money. I didnt get the Xeon headlights, the standard ones are very good. The HK stereo is good, but I like the Bose system in my Intrigue better, but I need to play with the adjustments though. Get the 16 inch wheels, they handle great, and the ride is not as harsh as with the 17 inch. |
