dull sketchy fan noice fromhehind steering wheel

It only makes it when i give it gas... it sounds like a small 80mm computer fan when it gets old and starts kinda going off on an angle and makin that little annoying sound.
its coming somewhere from the drivers side, possible under the hood..

anyone got any ideas?

sounds like you got a screw loose...lol...i mean literally, when you give it gas, the vibrations increase, causing the screw/bolt to vibrate...dunno what else it could be.

lol... come to think of it my battery has nothing holding it down..
do escorts come with some kind of battery clip to hold em in place? mine didnt have one when i bought it so i have absolutely no idea. sometimes the smallest things are overlooked when you have like 10 problems with your brand new car and hardly any money!

yeah they do have holders for them most have a bar or tow that goes over them and hookes into two holes near the bottom then there tightened. if thats loose you cant tighten it of course, but if its just not there.....zips ties fix anything.
