can i use a 93 cx intake manifold on a d15b2 head?
i have a intake manifold for a cx and i was wondering if i could use cx manifold for my dualport to multiport conversion since everyone says you guys are the ones to ask, so will it work and if so what do i need?

I don't know, but I honestly don't see why you'd want to; the thing is a pee-shooter. Even my buddies VX IM is bigger than my CX one.

Yes it will bolt on, but why, just get the D16Z6 one.

And? The Z6's is multi point, and better, than the CX's, no need to short change yourself.

Yes, but if you've seen the CX intake, it's TINY, and that can lead to problems with not getting enough air considering the manifold is made for a 70-something HP engine. If you are switching from dpfi to multi-point, then you obviously care somewhat about performance (otherwise why change) and I really think you'd be happier with a dx or vx intake.
I have a dx engine running off of a cx manifold, and when it gets hot, it can't get enough air. |
