best spyware removal?
Which (free) spyware/adware removal program is the most efficient? I never had any problems with popups, but now I'm getting dozens everyday from sites like AF, Imdb, Yahoo, anything.

i just go to www.download.com and go by the # of downloads and peoples comments

Ad Aware 6 is fantastic. Make sure you download the latest reference files and scan regularly. Annoying sound at the end is the only down side.

hmm, neither programs worked.
see, I use Avant Browser which also has a built in popup blocker. It used to work 100%, but now these IE popups keep coming. I'll give Firefox a try and see if the popups still occur

Norton personal Firewall, and adaware 6.0. thats what I use in conjucture with Norton Antivirus. wors perfectly.

i too use adaware 6 and spybot. and for random site popups i have the google toolbar.

Ad-aware 6.0 is great, works like a charm
although SpyBot does pick up some of the dribbles that ad-aware doesn't pick up. they're a great team
