Re: motor trend: Colin Mayhew????

Im not subscribed to Motor Trend, but I got the same booklet with a National Geographic Adventure mag. Im not too convinced on the subject. I visited the website given in the book, and when they do a robot arm dexterity test, the arm is in front of a white wall, commonly used when computer graphics are needed, due to the requirement of a solid white background. I could be mistaken, but I think the whole thing is fictitious. Although I have no doubt in the building efficiency of robotics and nano-technology people, I still personally think that they could never of been able to fit a huge robot into one of the smallest cars on the US market. Just think of logics. Although Im not totally convinced that it is false, I would'nt put my money on it either.
