As soon as I bought my 2001 Civic I tossed original speakers and replaced them with new 6 ˝ two-way coax. Eclipse speakers. About a year ago I started hearing vibration at the rear deck with base cranked up. Went to the dealer they said there is a rear break light service bulletin and they will fix it, they did fix it, at least they said they did... but I still hear the vibration. Went to the shop that installed the speakers, they are saying I need a subwoofer and a different deck (the radio) to handle more base. I am sure they would love to sell me both; I just can’t afford to pay them anymore and would like to do it myself. Is there any site I can go to and configure my system and may be by the components cheap’er then install it myself? Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
Oh yea, I’d like to keep my deck or at least he face plate of it in, the original idea was to get the best possible sound without changing the appearance of components, I thought it safer that way…. |

Re: what deck and what suboofer with it
try an amp instead of replacing the head unit.. 5 chan amp and get a mid quality sub
try www.crutchfield.com www.sounddomain.com www.ebay.com all good places to get good audio items, but i suggest doing yur research on the first 2 and then buying from a reliable source on ebay.
